A canvas tote is made to hold a lot and sort none of it. One open main compartment, no pockets inside, and by the time you reach your desk the keys, lipstick and earphones have all found the same corner. Digging for them with the bag hanging open on your shoulder is the part nobody enjoys.

This organiser gives the inside of your tote a layout. Pockets keep your phone, glasses case and notebook separate and upright, with an open centre space for the bigger things. A zipped section has space for a 14-inch laptop, so it stays put, and velcro adjustable flaps hold a water bottle in place.

It is sized for the Trader Joe's large canvas tote. It is made of nylon and built with an ultra-narrow seam, so it sits flat against the canvas instead of adding bulky edges. Both the interior and exterior are water resistant, so your tote's canvas is protected whether the damp comes from outside or from something placed inside. At just 2.16mm thin, it slips in without adding bulk, and your tote still carries like a tote.

To be clear about what it does: the reinforced base gives the bottom of your tote a firm footing and keeps what is inside upright and in place. It is slim nylon, not a rigid box, so the top of a soft canvas tote will still relax the way canvas does. When you switch bags, lift it out in one motion and everything moves with you. 

This is part of our classic solid colour line, a clean, understated finish rather than a printed interior, so it sits quietly inside your tote.

  • Lower the organiser into your tote and let the sides settle against the canvas.

  • Put your laptop in the zipped section so it does not move around, and adjust the velcro flaps to hold your water bottle in place.
  • Lift it out in one motion when you switch bags. Everything moves with you.

Will it fit my Trader Joe's tote? 

We tested it in a Trader Joe's large canvas tote and it fit perfectly. Trader Joe's large totes vary a little by edition, so compare the organiser's inside size (38cm wide, 21cm high, 18cm deep, plus or minus 1 to 1.5cm) with the inside of your own tote before ordering. Will it make my tote stiff or heavy? 

No. It is 2.16mm thin nylon and adds very little to the weight or feel of the bag.

Will it make my tote stand up on its own? 

Not fully. The reinforced base gives the bottom of the tote a firm footing and keeps your things upright, but it is a slim organiser, not a rigid box. The top of a soft canvas tote will still relax like canvas.

Can I carry a laptop and a water bottle? 

Yes. The zipped section has space for a 14-inch laptop, so it stays put. The velcro adjustable flaps hold a water bottle in place.

Does it protect my tote's canvas? 

Yes. Both the interior and exterior are made of nylon and are water resistant, so your tote is protected whether the damp comes from outside or from something placed inside the organiser.

What if something spills inside the organiser? 

Blot it promptly. It is water resistant, so contents placed directly inside should be wiped up quickly rather than left sitting.

Yes. This is the Large size, which is the size for the large LV Neverfull. Measurements are approximate, so check the size chart against your own bag.
