Most insulated bags are really just padded fabric. Colette actually holds its temperature, hot food stays warm, cold stays cool, thanks to a proper thickened lining rather than a thin layer for show.

Colette is quilted on the outside in a soft Toile de Jouy print, and lined on the inside with a thickened, water-resistant layer, sauces and spills wipe off it easily. A netted pocket inside gives you somewhere to tuck a slim ice pack alongside your food or bottle. The handle is trimmed in leather-look strapping with three snap positions, so it adjusts to however you carry it.

It works as an everyday lunch bag for the office or school run, tall and narrow enough to slot into a bigger bag rather than take it over. It also clips onto a stroller handle at any of the three snap positions, so a bottle can travel along without taking up a hand. At 12cm x 7cm at the base and 24cm tall, it is sized well for a bottle, a slim container, or a compact single-portion lunch, the kind of thing most people actually carry day to day. It comes in two Toile de Jouy colourways, a soft Classic Blue and a warm Classic Pink.
