The Lianne is the kind of thing you pick up, turn over, and then decide you need it before you have even opened it.

It is covered in a detailed lotus embroidery on an Italian flannelette exterior. The lotus motif is worked in fine thread, the kind of detail that makes people pick it up for a closer look. The interior is lined in pearl fleece, which is exactly as soft as it sounds.

It comes in two shapes. The round (10 x 10 x 4.5 cm) and the square (10 x 10 x 5 cm) are both compact enough to sit in a handbag without taking over. Inside, you get removable dividers so you can configure the space to what you actually carry, a wavy ring groove that holds rings of different sizes without them sliding around, necklace hanging hooks, and a gathered pocket on the lid for the things you reach for most. The zip is gold-tone throughout.
