What sizes are available?

We carry 3 sizes: Kids (45 to 52cm), Regular (54 to 59cm), and Extra Large (60 to 65cm). To find the right fit, wrap a soft tape measure around the head, starting just above the eyebrows and ears, around to the back of the head (about 2cm above the nape). If you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort, especially for active kids.

Will it stay on in the wind?

Yes. The adjustable drawstring chin strap is designed to keep the hat secure on windy days and with active kids, so you are not holding onto it all afternoon.

Does it really block the sun?

Yes. The fabric is rated UPF50+, which blocks over 98 percent of UV rays, and the wide brim with deeper crown gives extra coverage for the face, ears and neck.

Can it get wet?

The fabric is water resistant and and water beads up and rolls off during light rain and splashes.

How small does it pack down?

It folds flat into its own pouch with a clip, about the size of your palm, so it is easy to toss into a beach bag, stroller, or carry-on.
