I like the way my bookshelf looks, spines lined up, a few nice editions out on purpose. My e-reader never fit that picture. It just sat there in a stiff, generic sleeve that looked like an afterthought next to everything else I actually cared about. Rowan is not an afterthought.
Every tree on this sleeve is hand embroidered, thread by thread, onto natural linen, a small forest in sage, slate blue and stone. It closes with a fabric loop and button, nothing that could scratch a screen, and like every sleeve we make, it is cut to fit your exact reader rather than a generic seven-inch guess.

We cut the lining around your answer, not the other way round. Slide your device in, loop the button, and it is ready for the train, the bath, the last chapter before bed.

Spot clean gently with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking, embroidery and padding both take a long time to dry through.
Avoid rubbing directly on the embroidered areas. Work marks out gently instead of scrubbing, to protect the stitching.
This fabric is not fully water-resistant. If it's caught in the rain, dry it off promptly to avoid watermarks.
Always check the care label on the actual item as fabrics may vary slightly.

Is the embroidery actually hand-stitched?
Yes. Every tree is embroidered by hand onto the linen base, not printed. Because it's handmade, expect small natural variations from piece to piece, that's part of the character, not a flaw.

That's the point of the custom sizing, it should. As long as you give us the brand, model, and bare-or-case detail, at checkout or by Instagram DM at @shopmonbebe.sg, we cut the fit to match.
Is it waterproof?
It isn't waterproof, so dry it off promptly if it's caught in the rain.
How long will it take to arrive?
On timing, please allow 2 to 3 weeks, each Rowan is embroidered and made after you order, not pulled ready-made off a shelf.
Is this suitable as a gift?
Yes, and the hand embroidery makes it feel like one even before you factor in the fit. You will need the recipient's e-reader details to get the sizing right, so it works best when you already know their device, or as a treat for yourself.
